01 The brief

Tiger-meets-dragon. Born from chef's birth year (Tiger), surname meaning 'white', and the hotel's Vietnamese dragon architecture by Carlos Zapata. Interior references geometric structure of fish flesh from the chef's plating.

02 The craft

High above Hanoi, Akira Back layers the chef’s Korean roots and Japanese craft into a room of quiet drama — dark timber, worked stone and a ceiling that gathers the city’s light. Designed to move from a precise lunch to a velvet-hour dinner without changing its voice.

03 What it became

A space that keeps telling its story long after the room empties — designed to be lived in, not just looked at.
